The automated system of traces road accident fixation АМАТА-3D

In connection with sharp increase in vehicles the quantity of road accident increases also. A consequence of that at times are multikilometer "stoppers", with all that it implies.

Responsibility for the permission of extreme cases is assigned to the employee of traffic police, and in difficult situations and on criminalists. Thus, the essential factor at official registration of papers at road accident, is time of gaugings and high reliability of the received results reflected in the report.

All process of fixing of road accident is reduced till 10-20 minutes. System application practically excludes probability of occurrence of errors.



The description of work of the software which is a part of a complex «АМАТА-3D»

For work it is provided two windows: top and bottom. The cloud of points received from the scanner and transformed to the top view is loaded into the TOP window, and in the BOTTOM window the operator draws the scheme in a semi-automatic mode. For simplicity and speed he chooses the necessary elements from ready libraries of pictograms which are opened both for editing, and for replenishment by the user.

All pictograms take place on the scheme in uniform scale. Installation of pictograms on the scheme is made according to реперными the points which position the operator marks on a three-dimensional cloud of points. Noted points automatically, are transferred on the scheme, i.e. to the BOTTOM window, with observance of uniform scale, relative distances etc.

As a result absolutely exact scheme of road accident with the real sizes – further turns out, the file is printed on the necessary form.

The built in toolkit of the program allows to measure and put on the distance scheme, corners and other necessary data.

Application of specially developed software allows:

  • instantly to define distance between the objects established by labels;
  • instantly to print result;
  • to keep and reuse the data.

Scanning result is the three-dimensional model.

ЗD-scanning Allows to make quickly data gathering, to fix a relative positioning of objects and traces, completely to exclude errors of "the human factor» at data gathering.
The special software allows to use received «a cloud of points» for problems трасологии, to spend any gaugings with split-hair accuracy, to model a situation, to look at a place of events from any foreshortening since real conditions at the moment of data gathering are fixed.
Using a photo of the person it is possible to "place" it on three-dimensional model, to calculate various parameters (growth, the size of footwear etc.) and to analyse various assumptions of a consequence (whether allows to get growth of the person to a ceiling, etc.).


The Ministry of Internal Affairs – road accident fixing

The technology allows: to fix road accident consequences, such as: a relative positioning of cars and victims with a binding to district, traces of braking, a talus of a dirt and beaten glass, damage of cars, to define any distances between objects (cars, labels, buildings, illumination columns, etc.) to within 5 mm to define a relative positioning of objects and also to estimate a damage rate of objects.
Allows to create authentically without errors the road accident scheme, if necessary to create three-dimensional model of a place of events, to reuse the data which completely correspond to the real data at the moment of fixing.
Any falsification of the data at scheme drawing up is completely excluded, since the scheme and «a cloud of points» remain a uniform file.


Field tests

Together with department of traffic police of the Department of Internal Affairs on ЦАО Moscow tests of the Automated system of fixing of traces of road accident «АМАТА-3D» by which results system "АМАТА-3D" has been recommended for use in front divisions of traffic police of the State inspection of safety of traffic were conducted.
Except that test were spent and in УГИБДД the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs across Krasnodar territory which input considerable reduction of time of fixing of traces of road accident and impossibility of falsification of the scanned image and the received scheme of road accident have been noted.
